OT: Pool Leak

Does anyone have a good way to test their backyard pool for a leak?

I’m in Houston and I’m losing about an inch of water per day. I thought it was just due to evaporation during these hot summer days, but this seems like much more than that.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
