The concept of Hollywood stars presenting awards to scientists for their research breakthroughs sure seems like an exciting thing, and a breath of fresh air, to me. And in a production style, with a humorous host, entertainment and glamour added in, like the Oscars and Grammys, to boot.
I can't really believe what I'm seeing here on Fox's presentation tonight.
But the "if it seems too good to be true, then it probably is", and the "don't trust Hollywood in the long term, only in the short term" half of me makes me wonder why they are doing it?
They can't be doing this out of actual understanding, recognition and appreciation, can they???
Anybody out there know if there's a "catch" behind this show?
