A little side note while we wait for the CWS and coaching news.
Drove down the drag today. Looks like Berlin. All of Lamar. A lot of Burnet. Graffiti and tagging EVERYWHERE.
It seemed like at one time it was just the vacant / abandoned buildings. Now it’s everywhere.
I heard a few years ago that the city shifted the responsibility of patrolling / cleaning to the property owner. If so it’s not working. It’s awful. Embarrassing. The city needs to take back control of the issue and reverse the trend.
Especially with all of our new conference friends coming to visit on gamedays soon.
