OT: What the F#@% is this Pokemon s#!÷?

Just was responding to so.eone saying somebody fell off a cliff. But yes, I did see the article and read they were ok.

I guess this is what happens to average people that sit around all day and have a lack of vitamin D in their life. They get out into the wild and forget how to keep their footing. God help them if the zombies ever show up.

haha, yeah the media isn't going to say "two guys took a tumble in the woods" vs "POKEMON ALMOST KILLED THESE MEN; ARE YOUR CHILDREN NEXT?"

but think about it. if they are now getting into the wild and this game is the reason why, eventually they will get better at keeping their footing.

it's a net plus for us all. healthier people should mean lower health costs.

plus, it's a game. i'm not sure where this board gets all this hatred of "soft generations" and "i don't get it so now i'm mad that it exists" comes from. sheesh.

I'm curious if this is helping other children with Autism. I bet they're other stories some where on the internet! Good for you guys I hope this continues for you and your family.

Not sure. We force him to be active. He is bored of the playscape in the neighborhood and its so hot there aren't may kids out. I usually take my daughter for a walk around 7:30 because it has been taking that long for the temp to drop into the low 90s (yes Domers it stays hot here in Texas.) He has the option to do and exercise video with mom or go on a walk with his sister. I down loaded it a few days ago and that was the first time he chose to go on a walk although he spends 90% of the time looking at the screen

Oh I'm not mad about it---- well I was pissed the other day when a kid (and I assume his father) just walked right the fvck out in front of me in the street at a non cross walk--- no I wasn't speeding-- doing 35, but I still had to stand on my freaking brakes to stop well short of them. I rolled my window down and managed to holler something that was devoid of profanity (were it just an adult he'd have felt the full force of my "what the fvck is wrong with you a$$hat!)-- but I bit my tongue and simply said "Seriously? Seriously? Just walk right into the road!".
He looks up and goes "Sorry man! We'll be more careful!" and smiled and kept going.

Other than that- I'm not pissed. I just didn't understand what the fvck the premise of the game was.

Might as well get some marbles like we had back in the day.

boy, you are too soft. we played kick the can and we were LUCKY that a rich man through it out his window at us while we were picking cucumbers. your generation is so lazy and entitled.
