If they didn't live here, we certainly wouldn't talk about OU near as much. Pretty much every thread, no matter what it is about....they spin it in to a pissing contest. We get it, tu sucks and you love coming here to tell us. And we suck if we disagree. And by responding, clearly we are obsessed. Call me when I waste a post on an OU site (hint, it doesn't happen).

At first I was willing to have a mature, football related discussion with him/her about it. It's a reasonable thing to suggest (sour grapes) if you don't know the facts.
But once I laid out my position & what the circumstances were in the situation & the person jumped to me accusing him of a crime, the ND fan base & athletic department made up a story to win a Heisman, then followed it up by calling a player gay for no reason, then stating them all as factual, caused me to step away.
So I have no idea what has been said since?
My original point is why bring in a guy that is gone from another team because of being a lockerroom menace? That's all. Doesn't matter if it was OU or not. It just happened to be them this time.

Last I looked it's called Rivals. Posting the obvious or unpopular opinion doesn't classify a poster as a troll or obsessed with Texas. I strolled over to scoop to look at the topic the last few pages and/or month. There is hardly any but on the side note on OB it seems to be a regular occurrence. Not by all, just a few. He had numerous girls at ND, that is why his teammates would roll their eyes when he talked about "loving" the fake gf (which nobody knew was fake).
I think it was BS the way he carried on about it. I think he cared for what he thought was a real person, but not at that level. And in no way, shape or form did ND fans or athletic department have any idea. In fact, if you read the investigation (because ND contacted the police when the catfish group called Manti's room at the hotel at the title game claiming they were alive & in danger), the police found no proof that anyone knew it was a hoax until that night.
So I, like most ND fans in the know, feel Manti got a overboard with describing this person as his "gf" & loving her. That was a bunch of crap. Was there a grand conspiracy theory among ND fans & ND athletics? Lol, no. Is Manti gay? Not according to all the guys who saw the real gf's he had, including the model he is with now.
Does he have to live with the embarressment? Yep. But millions of dollars, fame, the NFL & a smoking hot real gf will probably get him by.
And his grandmother did actually die.
The only two groups any of this affects is the NFL & future girls. Neither seem to care. So why should I?

NDFarley with all due respect, one not need to don a tin foil hat to suggest Te'o is a very strange, sheltered, naive individual and that is if someone wants to believe that he believed this whole deal was real which by the way opens up a whole other discussion of how Te'o thinks and functions in life. As for the draft, he was drafted the beginning of the 2nd round, despite having numbers that were not impressive in workouts due to injury, & was then projected late 2nd round. GMs said the most impressive part of him was his openness & honesty about all of the situation in the interviews, moving him back up.
As for strange, sheltered, naive, & thinks & functions. I didn't know what cat fishing was, but my wife did & showed me online where millionaires, company CEO's, politicians, other athletes & literal scientific geniuses had all been cat-fished. So are they all not thinking or functioning as well?

I'll tell you one thing, the only time an OU loss feels good is when it is UT beating them. Other than that, unless we lose and then you follow up and lose after us and it gifts us say a spot in the CC or whatever in the standings.....that is the only other time an OU loss feels good after a UT loss. UT losses suck big time. You'd think we'd be used to it after the past few years, but I'm not.
And OU getting blasted in the playoffs last year didn't feel good or make me feel better about not being in a bowl game, it was just more embarrassing.
Thats all just to address your comments to someone else that you hate fans that root for others to lose more than their own team to win. Thats very Aggie. Sure every fan base has those type of fans, but I wouldn't say there are many of them with UT. Good thing about being a blue blood or a legit program with tradition......is that you want and appreciate winning. I'm a poster on a few college football sites and I've noticed a trend. Fans of other teams are unusually concerned with convincing Texas fans how bad our team is approaching this season. There is no apparent reason for the sour grapes (other than Baylor fans, I suppose) but its coming from everywhere.
My only conclusion is that they can sense the turning tide. Too many things went right in the off season. Too much talent coming in. Too many pre-season predictions picking Texas as a "surprise turn around", "most improved", "dark horse contender", etc etc.
I don't know how high the ceiling is for the win total this year, but what is very apparent is that no one wants to play us.

I want to play Texas. And I am really excited it is in Austin. Go big or go home, right?
So for me, opening up in Austin is a 1000 times more preferable than playing a directional school.
Jsto I post maybe a few times a day here and some days hardly at all. Despite your assumption, facts say differently. I don't necessarily pick one board and post, rather than several and for whichever one has the most traffic at that certain time. Sometimes scoop is busy and this place is dead or vice versa.
