A lot of the guys were signing autographs. I was standing back, waiting for Jaylen Waddle to finish up some autographs for some kids and a few adults. No media around, other than me kind of hovering in the background.
One guy asked Waddle where he was going to college .... "Probably A&M," Waddle said.
I did talk to Waddle briefly after he finished up autographs and he confirmed what we reported on Monday ... that he may take an unofficial visit to Texas in January. I asked Waddle if it was fair to say that Texas is chasing A&M and Alabama, and he said yes.
So, this one's not dead yet, but Texas certainly has some ground to make up.
