David Pierce is a good coach. Not many have gotten a team to the CWS 3 times in 8 years. He is not a great coach.
Why when we have so much to celebrate with the replacement of a good coach for a likely great coach do so many on this board feel the need to hate on the good departing coach?
Are you the very best there in your respective profession? Are you in the top 1%; are you even in the top 5%? Should everyone hate on you at your job? David Pierce might have been, but he is not the best or the top 1%. Likely as a coach David Pierce was way more successful than you.
Pierce hatters, you will hate Schloss if he does not produce a Natty in the next 5 years or if he goes 2 and Que in Omaha next year or if he does not make it to the CWS sometime in the next 3 years. Show gratitude for what Pierce brought us and focus today for the rabbit CDC pulled out of a hat.
