A few buddies of mine were discussing the Big 12 next year, and the question came up about Humphrey and Johnson. Are either of those two leaving early? Those two gave OU fits this year.

Or anyone of significance from this year’s team? TIA

LJH will leave early regardless of his grade. He has a bit of an attitude. The NFL will be wary of it. He will go late rounds.

Then he will end up on the ash heap of NFL history. You have to have your mind right to make that transition.

Right now the only guy I think will leave early is Brandon Jones, he got a very good grade from the NFL
Even B Jones didn’t perform at DBU levels (he failed to put up great stats - 66 tackles & 2 interceptions). He averaged 5 tackles per game & 1 interception every 6.5 games this season. AVERAGE!

If you run great routes and can catch.....I mean really catch the ball, you can play in the NFL. Fact is, more all time great WR's were not the fast guys than were.

LJ is not an NFL caliber WR in my opinion . . . too slow. He might wanna focus on getting his degree.
I disagree only because the NFL DBs are roughly the same ht/wt as the DBs he has make look really bad. I don't think LBs can cover him either. I believe he will be fine.

After Ehlinger pronounced, "We're back!," here's what LJH said:

"We're gonna see," Texas receiver Lil'Jordan Humphrey said. "We've got a whole other season next year and a whole lot of work to do this offseason, so we're gonna see."

Things can change, but that sounds like someone planning on coming back. It sounds like he doesn't want this Sugar Bowl win to be the highlight of his Longhorn career. He wants to do more. He wants the Horns to achieve even higher goals, as prestigious as the Sugar Bowl is.
