For all the noobs that don't know the intraconference rules here you go. I've seen 20 plus post about having to sit out a yr. Well You DO NOT.

The Southeastern Conference (SEC) has several rules for intraconference transfers, including:
  • Undergraduate transfers: Must enter the NCAA transfer portal by January 18 to be eligible immediately

  • Graduate transfers: Have until February 1 to announce their intentions

  • Spring portal entrants: Cannot play within the league during the college football season

  • Players who transfer within the conference: Must transfer before February 1, or they must sit out for a year

  • Players who transfer out of the conference: Are immediately eligible to play wherever they go

Players can ask their school to remove them from the portal, but the school can cancel or reduce their scholarships for future academic terms. The school is not obligated to take the player back.
