I am starting this thread to focus on portal activity and separate it from general recruiting. I don’t know if it is a good idea. If yall want to continue using the recruiting thread for portal news that is cool. I can delete this one. Hook’em.

The Ryan Williams portal news is bogus, but this is interesting. I don’t think we need an edge but, still interesting.

I am so sorry to hear this. I was really pulling for Malik and as the season progressed he got better. He can throw the long ball. He had decent stats this year and Duke finished 9/3.

I wonder how much influence his father has on him I've heard he's overbearing. We already knew this but if you think Ewers can't run out of the pocket Murphy ran 19 times for minus 79 yards. Ouch

So you're saying compared to Quinn, he's almost Randall Cunningham? When I watch Quinn scramble, I have a hard time believing there is a slower human being on the planet. My Mom is 86 years old and uses a walker about 60% of the time and I swear she could crowd his 40 time.

We need at least one absolute stud. And 2 nice depth pieces. Terry should come in and be a handful right away. Also why I don't understand Bledsoe hitting the portal.

Plus Burke could add 15-20 more pounds and move to the 3tech. His length and strength he could be nasty there.

So far, they have 17 wanting to transfer. Texas has 8.

Our portal guys have shown good success finding a place after Texas. How they've done I'm not sure other than a few. From the '22 portal guys there were 3-4 that didn't find a place. Other than that, the last two years all but one in each portal class found places.

Aggies have shown similar success, but with a couple more missing out on places to go after College Station.

That said, Texas had 25 outgoing portal transfers last year, 19 in '23 and 24 in '22. We will have MANY more than 8, you can count on it.

I agree with this 100%. I was telling a buddy of mine during the ATM game that i bet Burke ends up being a DT next year.
