They are going to put a stop to the free agency. It would not surprise me to see a draft out of high school. The yankees really want a draft but I don't see the blue bloods going for it. If they do, their demise is by their own doing.

Don't know the first thing about him but a chance to transfer to Texas is a no brainier for this kid. I mean from a 1/11 team to a title contender. He's probably on his knees giving thanks to the Almighty for this chance
He was. The first time they ever signed a 5*. They should have given him the ball early and often to make sure he stayed. But he didn't and now he's gone which is no surprise.
And yet I'm sympathetic to him. You remember his qb Behren Morton? Say what you want about Marcel Reed but he's still a lot better than Morton.
And they have to stop transferring to more than one school. Brennan Thompson who originally signed with us decided to transfer to Oklahoma. Ok fine. Now he's going to transfer again. This has to be stopped there has to be some control.

What if the player was kicked off the team? Should the school be forced to keep players they no longer want, should coaches not be allowed to take other jobs when they want? It goes both ways.
A draft will be added and I will have checked out. I haven't watched pro sports in 20 years. The more homogenous it becomes, the less interested I become.
Another possibility down the line is for players to sue college sports over only having 5 years to play 4 seasons. If they are no longer real "students," why wouldn't they want to keep playing in the minor league as long as possible.
