Here is a map that I've put together. This isn't necessarily my prediction. But it is a scenario based on the polls. It is also based on the numerous and persistent polling that Trump has overwhelming appeal with whites without a college degree. That demographic shrinks each cycle, but it is still large. Hillary polls fairly evenly with college educates whites, particularly females. And she obviously does much better with minorities.
With that in mind, here is a potential map that gives Trump Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New Hampshire. Those are historically blue states with plenty of union members who are attracted to Trump's populist economic policies.
I also give Trump North Carolina. But that might be a stretch, given the unfavorable demographics in the state for him.
I gave Hillary Nevada, Colorado, and Florida. Those are traditionally swing states, but have been trending blue in presidential years. While there are some Republicans who could still win those states, Trump is simply too toxic IMO.
