Today, we clicked on the “Accept Admission” button and my son will be a member of the Texas Longhorn class of 2027!
We weren't sure that he would choose UT. He was ready to enroll at Texas State about six weeks ago, but after sitting in on a class and getting to sit down with an advisor, he finally chose UT. It was a surprisingly tough choice for a kid who has been wearing burnt orange since he came home from the hospital. Giving up $48k in scholarship money is hard.
But i couldn't be prouder of him and so glad that this weighty decision is off his chest.
