That Mack. He just signed the nations top ol Zach Rice. He actually made official visits to AL and tOSU. But recently he made an unofficial visit to NC and that was that. Good grief Mack can go toe to toe with AL for the top ol in the country and win. Are you reading this Tom Herman? Mack groomed you when you first started in coaching and this is the thanks he gets? And now NC has a top ten recruiting class.

As bad as our ol looked against OK I realized that OK has a very good defense now. Good enough to win a playoff game? Well their defense is a lot better than their previous playoff teams. And their best freshman, could be Clayton Smith 4* dl out of Texarkana. They have a 5* dl out of FL coming in next year. And they made great adjustments in the second half.

Another thing is their ol. The most glaring talent differential between TX and OK is on the ol. People at TX are understandably excited at what Kyle Flood can do after a couple of recruiting classes. But Bill Bedenbaugh at OK doesn't have to take a back seat to anyone. You might be surprised to know many ol from OK are in the NFL and a couple of them have made the pro bowl.

Another thought about our defense. Of our 22 commits 13 are on defense and 2 more are on special teams. The coaches already knew what they had. I've got my fingers crossed that our coaches will develop them. Now get that 5* ot out of Miami to Austin and we'll all be happy.

If OSU beats ISU tomorrow they could be 11/0 when they play OK next month the remaining schedule isn't that tough. If OK beats Baylor than both teams could be 11/0 when they play on 11/27/21. Maybe we'll look back and say hey we lost to a couple of 11 win teams.

Finally if OSU or Cincinnati make the playoffs it will be embarrassing for TX and OK and the SEC will probably laugh at us.

And as always

You are accurate in Flood needing a couple of recruiting classes. However, it is an insurmountable task to wrap my mind around that because that means 3-4 years for them to mature and not be freshman starters. Ugh! We have been in rebuild mode for so long that it is very difficult to fathom the beginning of another rebuild. It is too depressing to even think about it just as your main rival establishes even more dominance in championships and even another Heisman. Our OL is just making Bijan earn it on his own and ruining any chance he may have at a Heisman. As crazy as it sounds, I still think we can win now. If our defense can just be modified somehow to be at least a little better and not so damn porous, I would be happy.

Texas needs to pick up some transfers.... and good ones. There really is no more patience for this nonsense.

Floods current class is well, not great. It's more of the same.
