Roach?

I'm curious your thoughts on Roach. Stats read he had 2 tackles, 1 solo. He looked slow to me. Was he playing out of position because of injuries? By that I mean, I know he is a LB, but was he forced to play a LB position he's not suited for? Will he have trouble in pass coverage during Big 12 play?

With Wheeler out the first half and Johnson out the second half I think they had some players playing in spots they normally wouldn't have been. We'll see where they line up when everyone is available.

I am a little concerned with him at LB. I was really optimistic for him this season. However, I am not sure linebacker is his strength. I thought he would be at end. I guess we will see how it all unfolds.

He was playing out of position (I hope) and he was not very good. He took Johnson out on MD's first TD with a misread and I saw one play where he just ****ing ran into no mans land with his back to the LOS on his pass drop...LOL...like he literally turned completely around and was looking for who had the ball 15 yards down field...QB hadn't released it yet.

So...yes...he will have serious trouble in pass coverage during Big 12 play.
