First-Team All-Big 12 Selections

Rivals: 5 stars, No.18 overall, No.1 APB, No.2 in Arizona
247: 5 stars, No.21 overall, No.1 RB, No.2 in Arizona
ESPN: High 4 stars, No.21 overall, No.3 RB and No.2 in Arizona

Winner: Ultimately, it's pretty much a push from 30,000 feet up, but kudos to Rivals for having him highest by a few spots. ESPN had him ranked exactly the same at No.21 overall nationally, but they didn't give him a 5 star, so shame on them. If you're wondering who in the hell was ranked ahead of him in the state of Arizona, it was Georgia cornerback Kelee Ringo.

LSR: 5 stars, No.3 in Texas
Rivals: 5 stars, No.14 overall, No.1 Ath, No.4 in Texas
247: 5 stars, No.30 overall, No.1 Ath, No.4 in Texas
ESPN: 5 stars, No.13 overall, No.1 Ath and No.2 in Texas
ON3: 4 stars, No.60 overall, No.1 Ath and No.9 in Texas

Winner: While ESPN did have Sanders rated one spot higher in its top 100 than Rivals, the rankings are virtually identical.

LSR: High 4 stars, No.9 in Texas
Rivals: Mid 4 stars, No.144 overall, No.12 S, No.13 in Texas
247: 5 stars, No.28 overall, No.1 LB, No.2 in Texas
ESPN: 5 stars, No.33 overall, No.2 LB and No.2 in Texas

Winner: This one os a tough one to call. If you believe that Overshown performed as a five-star talent should, you'll give the end to 247 and ESPN. If you think he performed slightly below the expected 5-star standard, you might think a high four-star or mid-four star ranking was the actual ranking that came close to nailing him as a college prospect. Personally, I think my high-four star ranking is the best, but if he ends up going in the 3rd or 4th round of the draft, Rivals would probably want to raise its hands.

LSR: NR
Rivals: Low 3 stars, No.127 in Texas
247: 3 stars, No.137 in Texas
ESPN: 3 stars, No.103 LB and No.160 in Texas

Winner: There's no real winner in how Ford was ranked, but Rivals gets a participation ribbon for ranking him highest in the state.

Second-Team All-Big 12 Selections

Rivals: Mid 4 stars, No.67 overall, No.11 WR, No.4 in Cali
247: Mid 4 stars, No. 99 overall, No.13 DT, No.8 in Cali
ESPN: Mid 4 stars, No.62 overall, No.8 WR and No.7 in Cali
On3: 5 stars: No final ranking before Worthy entered college

Winner: Both Rivals and ESPN had him ranked virtually the same, with ESPN listing him higher in the national rankings and Rivals had him higher in the state of California rankings.

LSR: 5 stars, No.6 overall
Rivals: High 4 stars, No.65 overall, No.6 OT, No.11 in Texas
247: 5 stars, No. 30 overall, No.3 OT, No.7 in Texas
ESPN: High 4 stars, No.33 overall, No.4 OT and No.10 in Texas
On3: 5 stars, No.6 overall, No.1 OT, No.1 in Texas

Winner: Yes, this is the infamous recruitment that no one will ever forget. What's interesting is that I had no idea that ESPN also ranked him as a high four star. Have to give this as another victory for ON3.

LSR: No.13
Rivals: Mid 4 stars, No.167 overall, No.12 DT, No.16 in Texas
247: Low 4 stars, No. 194 overall, No.19 DT, No.20 in Texas
ESPN: High 4 stars, No.47 overall, No.2 DT and No.6 in Texas

Winner: I really can't decide what I think here. ESPN definitely had him ranked the highest, but I'm kind of on the fence for the level of player Coburn ended up being. I might argue that a guy that only makes a single all-conference team in his entire career probably should be ranked somewhere between 10-15. I mean... ESPN had him ranked higher than Jaylan Waddle.

Honorable Mention All-Big 12 Selections

LSR: Low four stars, No.32
Rivals: High 3 stars, No.18 Dual Thread QB, No.88 in Texas
247: High 3 stars, No.6 Dual Threat, No.41 in Texas
ESPN: Mid 4 stars, No.104 overall, No.3 Dual Threat and No.17 in Texas

Winner: Kudos to ESPN for defeating me. Both of us had him ranked as 4 star prospects, but they had him ranked the highest, although it should be said that none of us ranked him as a super blue chip prospect and maybe we should have.

LSR: 5 stars, No.5
Rivals: High 4 stars, No.33 overall, No.8 Ath, No.8 in Texas
247: Mid 4 stars, No.59 overall, No. 2 Ath, No.10 in Texas
ESPN: Mid 4 stars, No.40 overall, No.2 Ath, No.7 in Texas

Winner: It kind of feels like we all have overrated Whittington to a degree, but none than me for having him at 5 stars. He probably should have been someone ranked outside the top 10. I award no trophy for this round/

LSR: NR
Rivals: Mid 3 stars, NR in Texas
247: High 3 stars, No.47 OT, No.77 in Texas
ESPN: 3 stars, No.78 OT and No.136 in Texas

Winner: I don't know that any of us deserves a bouquet of flowers, but 247 had the best rating. He was definitely worthy of a state top 100 rating.

LSR: Low Four-star, No.51
Rivals: Mid 3 stars, No.110 in Texas
247: High 3 stars, No.27 DT, No.48 in Texas
ESPN: 3 stars, No.93 DT and No.94 in Texas

Winner: 247 had him ranked 3 spots higher than I did in the LSR, but I was the only one to rank Sweat as a four-star prospect. It's basically a tie, but we were both better than Rivals and ESPN on this one.

LSR: Mid Four-star, No.24
Rivals: High 3 stars, No.41 DT,, No.70 in Texas
247: Low 4 stars, No.25 DT, No.36 in Texas
ESPN: Low 4 stars, No.24 DT and No.43 in Texas

Winner: I'll take this one home as the only set of rankings that had him as a Top 25 prospect.

Rivals: High 3 stars, No.37 SDE,, No.17 in Louisiana
247: Mid 3 stars, No.111 Edge, No.26 in Louisiana
ESPN: Mid 3 stars, No.96 edge and No.29 in Louisiana
On3: Not ranked

Winner: Everyone should have ranked him higher, but Rivals had him ranked a tier above everyone else.

LSR: Mid Four-star, No.30
Rivals: Mid 3 stars, No.72 CB,, No.79 in Texas
247: Mid 4 stars, No.128 overall, No.10 CB, No.20 in Texas
ESPN: High 3 stars, No.47 CB and No.88 in Texas

Winner: Very similar to Sweat in that 247 and LSR hd him basically ranked the same, but 247 had him ranked 10 slots higher in the state than I did, which gives them a slight edge.

LSR: Low Four-star, No.38
Rivals: Low 4 stars, No.28 CB,, No.39 in Texas
247: Mid 4 stars, No.150 overall, No.10 CB, No.23 in Texas
ESPN: Low 4 stars, No.235 overall, No.17 CB and No.40 in Texas

Winner: If Watts comes back to Texas and ends up being a truly plus-player, I'll give the odds to 247, but this one feels like a push at the moment.

LSR: High 4-star, No.5
Rivals: High 4 stars, No.54 overall, No.9 CB,, No.5 in Texas
247: Mid 4 stars, No.120 overall, No.13 CB, No.10 in Texas
ESPN: Mid 4 stars, No.80 overall, No.11 CB and No.10 in Texas

Winner: It's pretty much a push because all of us had him as a Top 10 player, but in a re-draft he's probably closer to someone between 11-20, but it really comes down to the beauty of the beholder. Considering he only made an impact in his final two seasons, I'm going to suggest that there's no real trophy-earner here.

LSR: Low 4-star, No.33
Rivals: Low 4 stars, No.145 overall, No.9 S,, No.17 in Texas
247: Low 4 stars, No.196 overall, No.17 S, No.30 in Texas
ESPN: Low 4 stars, No.261 overall, No.17 S and No.42 in Texas

Winner: In reality, we all ranked him outside of the super blue chip territory, but Rivals was the only one to have him in the top 20, so they get the last attaboy of the ceremony.
