I think it depends on who is available. We should look for a bigger running back if possible.
Judkins was a huge portal addition for tOSU as a running back with two 1k seasons. Both he and Henderson are athletic bigger backs in the 215 lb range. We are missing a proven bigger back in that can help in short yardage. Roshon and Bijan profiled in that range. Gibson was our battering ram back and was only 205 pounds. The only back on our roster that has a larger back profile is Baxter at 215.
Our current guys are all in the 200 lb range and while twitchy, have trouble moving the pile. I wonder if our recruiting profile for running backs are players in the 180 to 200 range. The two guys coming in for 2025 profile as guys on our current t roster. CJ really sticks out as a different type of back based on size. Just my two cents.
