Last night was a bitter ending, but we need to remember how far this team has come from the Kansas loss in 2021.
Sark's first year was not only installing a new system, but in changing a toxic team culture. Easier said than done.
Much respect and appreciation goes to the upperclassmen who stuck it out, bought in and kept fighting to
see this team come together the last 2-3 years. Guys like Barron, Taaffe, Gbenda, Helm and many more.
They were a huge part of changing the culture from the "soft Texas" that SEC talking heads scoffed at when we
entered the league, into a group of resilient, seasoned leaders who demanded excellence. This mindset has been
carried over to the younger guys and will sustain with the #1 incoming recruiting class.
This program is back and nationally respected. Thanks to the SR's and JR's who helped build that foundation.
