I think banks certainly qualifies as a top recruiter but if I’m not mistaken flood is usually more a secondary guy who just also seems to be an awesome position coach. Think Banks was up there with Scott and one other (blanking) as top notch primary recruiters. Regardless, would be great...doh or whammy...good for us and takes their Texas stalwarts away. Hope we can somehow still get Ansley or Raymond to come w Joseph at CB...

You know what helps. Saban and his 7 rings and the fact that every recruit that has stayed at Bama has won a ring since Saban has been there.

Banks all day. Makes up for any inexperience in recruting for Coleman. He can shadow Banks and learn.
Why wouldn’t we? Give him $1.3 and a co-Head Coach title or something. Whatever it takes to land the right staff. As we’ve learned with Charlie and Herman, the alternative is far, far more expensive than an extra $500k per year.
Then it’s probably a decision of whether he wants to stay in Tuscaloosa or come to Austin.
