I'm thinking Mr. Dobson is a horn. In 1950, UT orange was much brighter. DKR found that the burnt orange hid the ball better in the wishbone.
Mrs. Dobson was a HUGE Texas fan. She lived a few blocks over from me and gave me a very nice HS graduation present when I went off to Texas and wrote very flattering note with the gift about my decision to attend Texas. I never met Harmon.

Yep, an aggy amigo told me before that Collie Station won't let Hooters in b/c of the uniforms. I also believe it's probably not worth it for the waitresses to have to drive a far distance, out of town, to work there.
burnt orange was way before the wishbone....DKR may have been the one to bring it, but it was the color for years before the wishbone.

Austin is fantastic...even with a bunch of weirdos running around. Believe it or not, there is more to Austin than Sixth St.
Honestly I like the idea of living somewhere between San Antonio, and Austin, get the best of both worlds, and don't have to deal with the traffic until you are ready. I'm partial to moving around Hwy 46 in New Braunfels.
