**TEXAS vs Jaw Jaw OFFICIAL Gameday thread of Peach Dominance**

Ok ..I couldn't watch the game. All I could do was watch the stat sheet. That stat sheet tells a different story than what y'all are saying. Looking at that, Quinn was not the problem. Carson Beck was a Heisman candidate and he really did suck.....He had a QB rating of 70.....Quinn was 111.
That ain't good, but when being sacked 7 times it is understandable.

As for the defense....they looked to play lights out. They held Uga to under 300 yds and 30 points after we turned the ball over 4 times.

Who in hell kept dropping the ball?
Georgia is a quality team with a quality coach. They simply were hungrier. I don’t blame Quinn. The pressured him all night, and we could not run the ball. Our defense was awesome. The won this go around, I think we win the next one.

No it’s not lol. And you get every hard game at home dipshit.
Weevil....you have to understand that aggy of course has a better resume than we do...

They have 6 wins and a "quality loss"...
We have only 6 wins and no quality loss....
Anyone that knows anything could see that UGA did not play near potential in our game. They were obviously looking past us to the secsecsec championship game with aggy...... advantage aggy...whoop!

We were not prepared for Georgia's intensity on the lines and it caught us off guard, it happens. There is a reason Georgia was basically the unanimous preseason #1 ranked team. They finally played up to their potential and unfortunately it was against us. Now that we have that monkey off our back we can refocus and hopefully lock in. We took a big haymaker but we aren't hurt.

Losing Baxter was a bigger blow than most thought. Sark doesn't trust or RB's to run between the tackles very much.

A lot of the "pressure" was his fault. For the most part, the C and G did a good job of not allowing a push up the middle

Quinn had mistakes, but I just believe it was a collective effort. RBs were ineffective as well, so the OL had their culpability. Additionally, I won’t speak to this because I just don’t know but Sark & Co probably were outcoached to a certain degree. Georgia’s DL and that #11 killed our offense. It is just one game and their will be a lot of learning from this game. Georgia took all of the Texas hoopla and the arrogant dumbass Longhorn fans the wrecklessly boast non-stop personally. Afterall, they have been something like 49-3 over the last 3 1/2 seasons.

I’ll try to put a little silver lining on it. Ga D was angry in the first half. Our OL got manhandled. Quinn was rattled. However, if Wisner catches the fleaflicker pass from Quinn early he would have either scored or got close. That would have quickly shifted the momentum with a score and lead by UT. Next big play was the called back kick off return for the obvious hold. Instead that series ended in a turnover on our end of the field. One other one I recall was a dump off throw by Quinn instead of hitting Helm running wide open down the sideline. Those three plays could have been game changers. Woulda, shoulda, coulda. Our D played pretty damn solid. First half was just a train wreck for us.

I’m interested to see the Film Guy’s breakdown of our O. I’m already seeing people post videos of instances where QE didn’t step up into the pocket, like he’s been so good at, and got himself sacked. Don’t get me wrong; our OL wasn’t great and there were plenty of mental mistakes to go around, but I just can’t shake the feeling that there’s something going on with Quinn. Something has him snake it right now.

Anytime QE felt pressure from one of the tackle spots he dropped deeper in the pocket and rolled right....every damn time. He never stepped up into the pocket and never escaped left.

11 and 13 for Georgia kicked our butt for sure. The OL has to show some damn pride, but QE has to help them out as well.

Another thing that caused more pressure was how many missed reads QE had on the night. Multiple times he had guys open and didn't see them but rather threw to a covered guy he was staring down.

Because currently we have a win against a top 10 current team. Michigan secret is out..OU secret has been out. Missouri probably gets exposed by Alabama. Vandy has shown to not be bad and Missouri beat them. Vandy beat Alabama who isn’t a cupcake even being down. They may be fake but currently they are a 1 loss team. Arkansas is a better win than you have currently. That team beat a top 10 Tennessee team. I’m not saying we are world beaters at ALL, but the resume is currently better.

The only rankings that matter are at the end of the year. Beating your chest about Mizzou, who was ranked way too high at the beginning of the season and is barely scrapping out wins against bottom feeders, is nothing to hang your hat on. Once again, only 2 of your wins have come against teams with winning records. Texas has beaten 4 teams with a winning records.

If you want to talk about bad teams who currently have only one loss, hell, that’s ULM too. But, you don’t see us bragging about demolishing them in their only loss.

We’ve had a single like opponent so far, which Texas handled easily and won by 22. MSU’s only TD against Texas came late in the 4th quarter during trash time, against backups. Your late in the 4th quarter FG is the only reason you can claim a 10 point win. In your game, MSU had more total yards and more first downs. You barely survived MSU… at Kyle Field.

There still a ways to go in the season, so you might want to pump the brakes on claiming to have a better resume.

Quinn knows the Heisman race is over, as well as a magical undefeated season. Reality has manifested itself. Maybe being the new character for Dr Pepper was a curse. I look forward to seeing how he plays against Vandy with that pressure off his shoulders. Hoping he plays with the proverbial chip now.

It may be the draft stock thing as well. If this were a worry, it should be gone as well. Pro Football Focus has him at #240 in college football. Not good buddy.

Quinn skipped the Monday presser that he normally attends. I don’t know if there’s anything to be read into that. 🤷‍♂️

Hope there's a bunch of chips on burnt orange shoulders (icey whites actually)🤘🏻

Time for Quinn to enter the “get an attitude and not give 2 fcks about the ungrateful fans”. He can get his best work in going forward without walking on eggshells for fear of a booing fan. The fans want to scream and yell like young girls at a boy band concert when Arch comes in? Let’em. Channel your inner Tyler Durden, Quinn.

If Ewers had transferred from OSU to another school besides Texas, we'd heard, "Texas let another good qb from the state of Texas get away again!"
beat vandy like a drum!🤘🏻🤘🏻

Let’s not forget who Kirby Smartass really is. Throwing bottles after a bad call is typical for a college game that has been highly promoted is bad but expected from a drunk student body. Smartass is supposed to be the mature adult, right?

This is the same guy that called out UT nation for trying to rob the game. He’s also the same guy that told his D to head hunt Colt in 2009 (he was the Al D coordinator). I hope we get a chance to play this dumbass again.

Oh man, I painfully rewatched the game today. As bad as it felt live.....it was worse in more detail. Fellas, we left soooooo many yards and potential pts on the field.

The result is in the books BUT, we should have won that game fairly comfortably. Just about everyone played a split good/bad game but all at different times.

Rewatch if you can stomach it but be prepared to see way too many wide open receivers, missed wide open running lanes, and unexplainable missed blocks.

Georgia D played VERY similar to ou but with an obvious pass rush advantage. Should have run more zone schemes side to side just like vs Michigan to tire out the rush.

Quinn sux flat out I'll say it. He was scared didn't go thru his reads and just went to his check down everytime.
I don’t know man. Just don’t agree. Quinn is a damn good QB. Vogel can be an idiot with armchair 20/20 vision not taking into acct the speed of the game. Would we believe that Milroe is also a bad QB with his 2 losses and 17 pt performance against Tenn? If we are bama are we asking Milroe to be benched? Quinn has proven he can deliver with 12-2 record last year. No need to gamble with Arch. He had 2 series and was pressured, sacked, fumbled and completely missed his receiver. Sark made the right move to bench Quinn and settle him down. Best odds is to ride the rest of the way with Quinn win or lose or for better or worse. We are in the middle of a damn good season.

Two games in a row he comes out flat blowu is horrible and will only win 5 this year Quinn should of mopped them but 4 drives with nothing in the beginning of that game was ridiculous

Pretty harsh. Who knows what’s going on in the kids head. Coaches probably told him this is Ga and you got 3 seconds, then check down. It was a shit show for sure. Maybe he sux. I’ll give him another game.

Let’s also remember that Sark decided to forgo two field goals when he opted to attempt two failed 4th down conversions. It could have made a difference or not. But, these decisions were made on a night where the offense was just struggling against a top defense. Shouldn’t you take points in this type of situation? Most of the 4th quarter still remained after the 2nd fail.

Look at Banks he even threw his hands up like wtf after that play if nobody was paying attention. Do you remember when we had a qb issue where we didn't have another and we had to deal with it? It's not like that anymore.....he can not come out flat against Vandy cause I'll say this Vandy qb does not turn the ball over and might be the best qb on field that day.

Okay I’m good with where you’re coming from. Banks? I don’t think Banks has ever had to throw a pass. Cmon man. Let’s see how Vandy goes. Other than a slow start Ewers was lights out with OU. He’s got the team on his side. Hang in there a little longer. Arch is great and I’m grateful he’s on our side but I don’t think there’s ever been a Manning that won a national championship yet.

No but Banks did his job and Quinn just stood there.....Ewers started like crap with blowu as well the first 4 drives were crap and blowu got up on us 3-0. Two games in a row Quinn has started slow....I know we have been watching the same games. Quinn looks like he is afraid of getting hit. Quinn isn't a runner so that Georgia D just manhandled us Quinn wasn't a threat and he definitely wasn't going to throw on the run. I'm hanging in there I'm just very mad about the game.....and why isn't Sark using Bolden more on offense!

Well, crap.

Ewres has 1 qtr, 1.5 qtrs max to save his Texas career per Bobby Burton. Part of me thinks that tweet was real.

They were head hunting this game too by leading with the crown of their helmet all game. It's not like it's a new rule or anything so they can't act like they didn't know or didn't mean to do it. At least the refs called a couple of them.

To block out the noise so he can focus on the game would be my guess.
