So the new girlfriend surprises me with 2 OU tix

Do I:
A) dump her
B) go with her in these seats
C) try to sell/exchange them for tix on the Texas side



Fyi she is from Philly so she has a mouth on her and I fear for her safety on the OU side this year at her first game. (I took her to TX/LSU and she was chirpy with some LSU fans there)

B) I thought about this the other day --- there's a voice inside me that wants to one day sit on the OU side during this game. Perhaps a bit masochistic, but certainly a different experience. Also, I feel like most fans INSIDE the stadium are pretty cool.

C) I would not set the precedence of not fully accepting her gift of tickets to a football game. If you try to exchange them, she will think twice about the next time she wants to surprise you with tickets. Also, tickets in the OU side are going for much less than TX, not to mention fees on both transactions.

The biggest issue you have is that you decided to date a girl from Philly. Yikes.

My friend's friend was a big donor, and so I got a chance to sit right on the 50 last year....next to an OU guy. They nominated me to sit there because they knew everyone else would get in a fight if it went downhill. It was a fun experience most of the game. A lot of it was ribjabbing and such.

i would go to the texas side and find some OU fans and see if they will swap tickets, there are always a few random OU stragglers in the texas side and vice versa
