I disagree. People have been clamoring for the Redskins to change their name for about 10 years or so. The point being is suddenly things named after confederate soldiers, flags, statues, monuments, etc. are suddenly "offensive". Why all of the sudden are these things offensive? It's nothing but PC nonsense and the woke snowflakes being told to be offended by things. This country has gone soft/PC and the offended crowd agreeis getting their way and destroying America's history and heritage. It's truly sad. It's time to put a stop to this BS.

I'm not disagreeing with a majority of your post, but the Redskin controversy goes back to the 80's. And Redskin seems fairly derogatory to me.
