A man dressing up as a woman isn't a big deal to you? Ya I should have known it wouldn't be a big deal to you......This isn't a big deal to me. There is a cultural crisis at TX and I don't know how it can be resolved.

Don't make this personal it's not.Of course it's not a big deal to you. Shocker there.
Yeah. As I understand it it’s a yearly thing been going on for awhile. People gotta stop making more out of things than is there. Not everything is political, or because of “wokeness” or any of that BSTradition for a local celebrity to play the part of Mother Ginger during the Austin Ballet's annual "The Nutcracker". Vince Young did so a couple of years ago, however, I doubt you'd say anything to him face to face.
Bet you're wrong.Tradition for a local celebrity to play the part of Mother Ginger during the Austin Ballet's annual "The Nutcracker". Vince Young did so a couple of years ago, however, I doubt you'd say anything to him face to face.
So a friend of mine who is a girl happened to be married to an Austin cop several years back. She started noticing that her makeup and clothes were moved around from where she left them. One day she came home and husband was dabbling in the makeup. He came out as gay/trans, they divorced. They had a 17 year old son at the time, it devastated him. The son didn't talk to his dad for a couple of years. One day he gets a friends request from his dad, who is now a full blown he/she, had the surgery and all. Devastated him all over again. Dude is still a cop in Austin and the APD/taxpayer footed the bill for his crossover. This isn't a big deal to me. There is a cultural crisis at TX and I don't know how it can be resolved.
I will never understand how someone could want to become of the opposite sex. Just blows my mind to think there's actually people out there wired like that.So a friend of mine who is a girl happened to be married to an Austin cop several years back. In a 7th grade one act play, I played the twin brother of my sister. Had to dress and pretend to be her to help her break a date. The best part..I got to wear one our prettiest girls dress and get a kiss on the cheek (the "sister")from another of our prettiest girls. Lot of my buddies were envious. I think I turned out ok....😄Yeah. As I understand it it’s a yearly thing been going on for awhile. People gotta stop making more out of things than is there. This. All this is showing is these guys aren’t familiar with ballet, at all, nor the traditions around Mother Ginger being a played by a guy and auctioning nights in the role is a common fundraiser as is having local big shots play it for a night to turn out audiences.Tradition for a local celebrity to play the part of Mother Ginger during the Austin Ballet's annual "The Nutcracker". In the grand scheme of things it’s not a big deal. However, if a local celebrity were to refuse to dress as mother ginger because they didn’t want to dress up like a woman you can bet all of your big dick energy the liberals and wokesters all over Austin would definitely make it a huge deal and do everything in their power to cancel and shame said celebrity.Yeah. Last year, The University of Texas at Austin won the NACDA Director's Cup for having the most success in college athletics in 2020-2021, therefore, your opinion is not well substantiated. In the grand scheme of things it’s not a big deal. Yes, the culture issue in Austin is bad for our University and our sports teams.
This year our football team had an embarrassing 5-7 record after being in complete disarray for the past decade. Our athletic program is driven largely by our football success. That’s a fact. Let’s be honest, nobody cares about getting a Natty in Rowing or Tennis. I’ll certainly take them but I would rather have consistent champions in football, basketball and baseball. Therefore, your opinion is garbage unless your satisfied with championships in all the second tier sports at the expense of the primary sports. Those primary sports programs have suffered in part due to the Austin culture of progressivism and socialist mindsets. We have to fvcking pay recruits to come play here for crying out loud!Last year, The University of Texas at Austin won the NACDA Director's Cup for having the most success in college athletics in 2020-2021, therefore, your opinion is not well substantiated.
But that's not what you wrote initially. So if you want to talk about the "big 3", our football team won a bowl game, the basketball team made the NCAA tournament, and the baseball team finished 3rd place in the College World Series. As you mentioned, there is no doubt our football team is currently a sh*t show, however none of the program's numerous problems are as a result of Austin's "culture."This year our football team had an embarrassing 5-7 record after being in complete disarray for the past decade. You’re head is in the sand my friend if you’re convinced the culture of Austin has had no effect on the football program. We lose recruits due largely to the Austin environment. Parents of recruits would rather their kids play somewhere that has little to no opportunity for trouble or woke indoctrination. That’s why at some level schools like A&M and OU can recruit better than UT. There’s nothing else to do in those places except study and play football. But that's not what you wrote initially. If that were actually the case, every program would suffer, not just football. You’re head is in the sand my friend if you’re convinced the culture of Austin has had no effect on the football program. Every program at UT. If you had read the posts, then you would've known what I was referencing.USC - Los Angeles - suck at football
Washington - Seattle - suck at football
Georgia Tech - Atlanta - suck at football
Texas - Austin - suck at football
Cal/Stanford - Bay Area - suck at football

Are you the hit guy that drove the car that chased Steve McQueen through the streets of San Francisco. It's you in the photo.Every program at UT. If you had read the posts, then you would've known what I was referencing.
My bad.LOL, just wanted to be a contrarian
Yes, it's me, Bill Hickman. I've come back from the dead. Are you the hit guy that drove the car that chased Steve McQueen through the streets of San Francisco. It's you in the photo.
You are assuming that people haven’t declined in the past. I’d say that is a pretty big assumptionIn the grand scheme of things it’s not a big deal. Yes we did. Quiddich really helped us this year.Last year, The University of Texas at Austin won the NACDA Director's Cup for having the most success in college athletics in 2020-2021, therefore, your opinion is not well substantiated.
Wrong. The culture problem on our campus and in our locker room has to do with entitlement, not whether Vince Young dresses up like a woman for a fund raiser.Yes we did. Quiddich really helped us this year.
In all seriousness-- Stanfird has 39 teams-- which is why they almost always win it. Covid factored into Texas winning this year.
Go ahead and dress like a girl if you want to. I'll bust your balls just like I'd bust anyone's balls.
We do have a culture problem on our campus and in our locker room. Only a blind man or a complete idiot would say otherwise.
So basically you just said we don’t have a culture problem but then turned around and said we did lol. How ever the way you want to classify it there’s a culture problem within the football program.Wrong. The culture problem on our campus and in our locker room has to do with entitlement, not whether Vince Young dresses up like a woman for a fund raiser.
