Coach Charlie Strong said at his Monday availability, when asked by the media if he'd had conversations with freshmen who will redshirt about their statuses, that those players "already know" by now; three games in. In short, if you haven't played yet, it's highly unlikely you will get a redshirt burned at this point.

That means, barring unforeseen circumstances, the following players are virtually assured to redshirt:

OT Patrick Hudson

LB Erick Fowler

DT Chris Daniels

DE Andrew Fitzgerald

OT JP Urquidez

DB Eric Cuffee

WR Reggie Hemphill-Mapps

S Chris Brown

DT Marcel Southall

LB Demarco Boyd

TE Peyton Aucoin

OL Tope Imade

WR Davion Curtis

DB Donovan Duvernay

The following true freshman have played in 2016 and are ineligible to redshirt:

offense

QB Shane Buechele - 193 snaps on offense

OL Zach Shackelford - 183 snaps on offense

WR Collin Johnson - 55 snaps on offense

WR Devin Duvernay - 23 snaps on offense

RB Kyle Porter - 19 snaps on offense

WR Lil'Jordan Humphrey - 11 snaps on offense

OL Denzel Okafor - 5 snaps on offense

OL Jean Delance - 3 snaps on offense

defense

DE Malcolm Roach - 56 snaps on defense

DE/DT Jordan Elliott - 25 snaps on defense

S Brandon Jones - 13 snaps on defense

DT Gerald Wilbon - 11 snaps on defense

LB Jeffrey McCulloch - 10 snaps on defense

DT D'Andre Christmas - 5 snaps on defense
