You know, when John Mac was here and teams were setting records against our defense, my thought was; what do you expect he doesn't know shit about that side of the ball, he is an offensive guy. What to make out of Charlie Strong?
It seems he doesn't know shit about offense, defense, or special teams. At some point we need to lay this shit at the players feet and say we just suck, but I also go back to something I learned long ago, players will give you exactly what is expected of them.
These guys love their coach and they want him to succeed, but for whatever reason Charlie Strong just seems lost out there. He looks lost on the one side of the ball he knows, and that tells me he is either in way over his head or he has a defensive philophy that doesn't work and he is hell bent on running it. Either way, he is a square ped trying to fit in a round hole. It's time both parties to part ways.
