Sunday 8:30 p.m. update - What I'm hearing from sources inside the program ... Strong has told the staff "it's over." I do not believe Strong has addressed the team to relay that same message, although I'm hearing a bit of conflicting info on that.
Does that mean Strong has had a face to face with Perrin/Fenves or been told directly that he's being let go? Not necessarily. He could just be reading the obvious tea leaves, but I'm told he did notify members of the football staff that he's not being brought back.
"Charlie is trying to keep it together for TCU, but he is out," one source said.
