I see no reason to ever play them, just like they never want to play Texas.

Texas will never stop being Texas and Aggsy will never stop being Aggsy. Better we keep it that way and just live with our choices.

Aggsy traded in 1 Daddy for 4 or 5. Texas is again proving, it doesn't matter what conference we are in, if we are great we will close off the borders in recruiting.

Both will say they don't need the other, I like Texas's argument much much better.

Could Longhorns, Aggies renew rivalry at Texas Motor Speedway?

Tennessee and Virginia Tech successfully pulled off playing a college football game at a NASCAR venue earlier this season when the Vols defeated the Hokies at the "Battle at Bristol" at Bristol Motor Speedway in Tennessee.

They say everything is bigger in Texas, and Texas Motor Speedway president Eddie Gossage wants to pull off something similar at his track, with the Texas Longhorns and Texas A&M Aggies renewing their football rivalry at the venue.

"I think everybody that lives in Texas would love to see them play again. It’s a crime they don’t,”Gossage told SEC Country. “That would be a perfect game for us, because that’s a special one. That was one you always looked forward to. Maybe to revive it, something like this would help.”

Gossage isn't married to the matchup being the Aggies and Longhorns, but said the Speedway could also play host to the traditional Texas-Oklahoma rivalry.

“The beauty is you can make it whatever size you want," he is quoted as saying. "Remember, in Texas, you gotta do things big. Bigger than anybody else. I look at that crowd at Bristol, which was spectacular and a massive achievement, but I wouldn’t be interested in doing it unless we’re going to be bigger. So it’s how big do the schools want it? How much would they want to beat the record by?”

Given the size of the venue and the interest in the A&M-Longhorn rivalry, they could beat it by a lot.

Tennessee and Virignia Tech drew a little more than 156,000 in September, and the Texas Motor Speedway holds 180,000 fans - and could hold more if temporary seating were installed.

If you idiots would stop riding the coattails of others in your conference and acting like you guys have done anything of note since 1939 then maybe we could let it go.
