- Texas Freshman RHP Jason Flores (0-0) v. Houston Freshman RHP Kendall Hoffman
- Flores (no relation to Jalin) is a hard throwing righty that can run it up to 97, but his fastball will typically be in the 92-94 range. His fastball does have some late cut and run on it to arm side which can make for some very uncomfortable looks in the box. Command has been the biggest aspect he has had to work on
- During the weekly show Around the Horns with Coach Schlossnagle, he mentioned that if someone didn't throw in Arlington, you will likely see him today.
- Expect to see guys like Bryce Navarre, Connor McCreery, Hudson Hamilton, Easton Tumis, and Ethan Walker all have the possibility of throwing this evening.
