Our boys kick off the season tonight against Ohio State in the Hall of Fame tournament. National broadcast TV on TNT at 9pm.

Keep an eye on Tre Johnson. He’s our 5 star stud guard who is supposed to be a supreme scorer. He’s projected to be a lottery pick in next year’s NBA draft. I’m curious to see how he plays to see if he lives up to the hype. He’s pretty much our only HS recruit. Everyone else are transfers.

we have a couple guys out. i don't think we'll win this one, but we look pretty good. early on, we allowed ohio state to dictate the pace. dug ourselves an early hole, and we can't seem to overcome it.
couple observations: johnson is the real deal. still like weaver. forgot how much i dislike sheddrick

falling apart at about 6 mins left because we can't make fts and wide open 3s. hopefully just an early season thing. ball movement is good. good defensive effort, if not execution. RT coaches up defense so that doesn't concern me. improvements in flow is encouraging.

Tre Johnson looks legit. 29 points in his debut. He’s got a nice stroke and he’s a willing passer who can set up his teammates. Unfortunately, nobody else could shoot it well tonight.

Texas looked better than i anticipated. I like the pieces Terry has on this Team.
OSU made 14 three's. (50%) At half 30 of their 38 points were off three's. That's just not sustainable. Hats off to them for shooting light out.
