Got aggys tonight, sec channel. They are pretty good. We are still a work in progress. I say we finish top half of the league.

After the press said we did Charlie and Shaka dirty, I think Belmont was worried about firing the "black guy"..... but it's obvious-- and was obvious very soon in his tenure- this job ain't for him.
Totally hack job by hack job ****ers. Charlie wasn't done dirty...he sucked...bad.
Shaka is a damn good coach that just didn't keep his philosophy here. I would not have minded to see him stay, but with Beard available it was an easy choice. Texas would be in a much different spot with Beard.

I just watched the entire first half of this game and I've come to 2 conclusions.
1. No amount of coaching can better this talent.
2. No amount of talent could overcome this coaching.
I don't have a historical marker to compare how BAD this team, and it's coaching, have become.
The only way to send the message to Belmont that DEI doesn't work, is to change the channel---- which is what I've just done.

Being a head coach is hard. Bring a winning head coach is really hard.
Being a winning head coach at the richest athletic department in the world isn't cut out for just anybody.
Our current coach is the definition of "just anybody".

Completely different team in the 2nd half. Tramon Mark with the game winner and he was also fouled but refs let it go. Aggies blew a 22 pt lead in the 2nd half which is like blowing a 30 point lead in football. We led for a grand total of 3 seconds in the game. We won even with our top rebounder and 2nd leading scorer out with an injury.
RT still can’t coach at a higher level. This team has enough talent to compete in most games but we have too many games where we are completely unprepared. Even worse, Buzz Williams just blew the biggest lead in his tenure with the Aggies. And it was against a very mid Coach in RT.
Anyway, we can chalk up another sport that Aggie can’t beat us in.

Exactly. Tre was on fire for the last 10 minutes of the game and Coach Williams never doubled teamed him or denied him the ball.. They just let him get to his spots with the ball in his hands. Most competent coaches will make someone else beat them when a player gets hot. Tre finishes with 30 and 24 of those were in the final 15 minutes.
