Texas basketball 2025

MARCH MADNESS!! Anyone think this team has a chance to salvage Rodney Terry's career with a decent run in the SEC tournament and the Big Dance? It all starts in 45 minutes!

Tennessee will humble Mr. Tongue Out. And if Texas gets a mercy bud as a team with a 6-12 conference record it will be a short lived tournament.

Enough I’m afraid to give RT another year of complete underachieving

Wow, the apathy for this bball team quite heavy. Not one comment from yesterday’s loss to Barnes and fake ut. It wasn’t a bad game, not great either.
Does it mean an invite to the dance? Who knows.
In any case, hopefully CDC has a short list in his desk drawer and makes a move.

I watched the game. Went about as expected. Tennessee both out coached and out played us.

Really wasn't much to say.

We’ll make the tournament as a 12 seed or higher. Finishing in the top half of the SEC tournament is enough to sneak in. It really doesn’t matter. We might get out of the first round but it won’t be enough to save RT.

I’m still of the opinion that we never should’ve let Barnes go. The guy is a helluva coach. Stupid move by Patterson at the time.

Joe Lunardi just projected Texas as one of the first four out.

Then more Mad Dog 20/20 for Etlong.
Good Lord!! I hadn’t even thought about that possibility. Hopefully El Diablo has a letter teed up for the NIT selection committee as well. My head and my bowels are both voting against an NIT invite.
