Texas has extended an offer to Cypress Woods OL/DL Christian Jones.
The 6-5, 275-pound Jones can play on both sides of the ball but this one is almost certainly as an offensive lineman. I've reached out to Jones to confirm.
Jones has offers from the likes of Cal, Vandy (he's supposed to visit there next weekend), Houston, Virginia, Iowa State and Syracuse. He's supposed to be visiting UCLA this weekend.
I'll try to catch up with Jones for an update when he's not on his UCLA visit, but you'd have to think Texas has a great chance in this one.
