Can we get one god damn running back built like Adrianne Peterson or Derrick Henry or Eddie George?
A damn thumper? A plow horse?

They need to get some new rules in place to restrict NIL. I understand that we are moving to a revenue sharing model but by law NIL can never be restricted. That will be our honey pot for unlimited spending if needed. OU needs new rules so that they can break them while Texas follows them.As for our adversaries. Really interesting news north of the Red River. Venables has hired a new oc Ben Arbuckle and he's a young buck only 29. But Jackson Arnold has transferred and their best receiver, Nic Anderson, has transferred as well. They had a decent class. But it's apparent they are going to hit the transfer portal hard. This is the second straight year the starting qb has transfered. It makes me wonder.
Venables seems to be different from other Oklahoma coaches in that he's actually a decent man. But if they lose their bowl game that means 2 out of 3 losing seasons for him. Another season like this and he's out.
Ps I also heard their NIL program is in debt. You don't want to write up your opponent but it's Oklahoma and with them its different, a lot different than the aggies.
Agree. Over the past 3 years we have signed either the top or 2nd rated rb in the country and the 2nd choice has been in the top 10. What you are asking for just hasn’t been there. Our rb by the end of the season seems to rise to be very good:Not sure there is one of those three available currently.
But, I agree 10000%
F&$k rules to restrict NIL. They opened the door, they can live with what they created. We got the most money. It’s time to use it.They need to get some new rules in place to restrict NIL. They oil money is owned by (mostly) Texans. If what I read is true than I'm surprised that Oklahoma doesn't have a solid NIL set up for their athletes. I figured with their history and oil money that they'd be on top of it.
Peterson was listed at 220. 6'2. With a 4.41 40 and a (wait for it) 39 inch vertical jump. That's insane. The Simon kid with this class weighs 198. I watched some of his videos. He doesn’t shy away from putting his shoulder down and driving into defenders. He’s also pretty damn quick and shifty for a dude who’s right at 2 bills. Peterson weighed 215 or 220. It wouldn’t take our S&C coaches much time to put 20 lbs of muscle on him.
…and Wisner has turned into a pretty damn good thumper.
So you think! Toker will be along shortly to explain how this is actually a disaster and that Sark is Tommy Boy 2.0 as a recruiter.Looks like we got Justus Terry. And just like that the narrative that this class was like Tom Herman is over

Our class of '21. It was ridiculed because it was "only" ranked 16th. Among the elite recruits that year only JT Sanders signed with Texas. I don't know if you guys remember this but Herman didn't get fired until January and that class was already signed. My man, on the Twitter there were Aggie and Sooner accounts picking at this class like all the staff took was DBs and WRs
I should've reminded them that....
Broughton was 18th at his position with a 92 rating
Majors was 15th at his position with an 87 rating
Sweat was 27th at his position with an 89 rating
Sorrell was 87th at his position with an 86 rating
Conner was 56th at his position with an 86 rating
Murphy was 39th at his position with a 90 rating (1st round damn pick)
Hutson was 22nd at his position with an 88 rating
Burke was 38th at his position with an 88 rating
Williams was 56th at his position with an 87 rating
Goosby was 34th at his position with an 88 rating
So miss me with that bullshit narrative. It is obvious that this staff can either identify talent or more likely, identify and develop mid level talent with high upside.
Well I thought about that. Sarkisian did more with Herman's recruits than Herman did.Easy Cali….
That’s dangerously close to saying Tom Herman is responsible for our ride from the ashes of Clob’s favorite all time AD.
All those kids for years working at Big Red Auto.F&$k rules to restrict NIL. They opened the door, they can live with what they created. We got the most money. It’s time to use it.
I need new underwear
dont do it, keep em on for good luckI need new underwear
Now I remember why I stopped playing in 8th grade. That's just unfair.Jeez, if this is accurate, Daaayum!
Perhaps I jinxed it but as I said, he will cost us a game.Well
You guys are way too hard on carrot top. He hit a crucial late in the game fg against Alabama 2 years ago. Although we lost late in the have he gave us an opportunity. He did the same thing last year against Oklahoma. He did his part the defense couldn't finish. And then there the hair and the Craig Sager wardrobe how can you not love the kid?
He didn't cost us the game and besides he's a senior.Perhaps I jinxed it but as I said, he will cost us a game.
Can you imagine a pencil necked 8th grader having to go against him!?Jeez, if this is accurate, Daaayum!
Ummm….if we had 3 more points at the end of regulation we win. Thus the definition of cost is the game. Not like it was a 56yd kick to in. He missed “chip shots”.He didn't cost us the game and besides he's a senior.
