I stand corrected. Thanks for that....I feel better already.Sanders is 255 pounds, not 216.

But you are correct there is a ton of unknowns with these guys. I just know that when I saw Sanders play a couple times in high school he was one of those freakish athletes that made my jaw drop a couple of times. He reminds me a lot of Jermichael Finley. I thought Sanders would end up playing the edge in college but TE seems to be a natural fit for him.I stand corrected. Thanks for that....I feel better already.
My guess is they wanted to give him a redshirt year. He played a little early in the year but with the new redshirt rules I believe you can play in like 3-4 games and redshirt still.seriously....why did he not play more last year?
From what I understand with Sarkisian if you don't practice hard enough you don't start. He mostly played on special teams. My brother thinks he was so good in high school that you could pay him pay him wherever he wants and you'd reap the benefits. But the coaches are putting him at te. He needed a year to learn the position.seriously....why did he not play more last year?
You are correct. He insisted on playing TE.from what I understand, the coaches wanted to play him at defensive end, but he wanted to play offense.
Not necessarily beefed up, just stronger. Extra year in the weight room just like most offensive lineman need for blocking, no matter how good they are. Dude was a 5 star at TE and DE. He’s a freak. Thanks Metcalf. Still it is hard for me to see that a guy the coaches wanted for the DL needs to be beefed up to play as a receiver.
He didn't know how to play the position and needed a year to learn. It doesn't matter how athletic you are if you don't know where to go or who to block. Not necessarily beefed up, just stronger. That too. Doesn’t do any good to know where to go, if you’re just gonna get run over when you get there. He didn't know how to play the position and needed a year to learn. It doesn't matter how athletic you are if you don't know where to go or who to block.
He's one of the freakiest athletes I have seen at his size in the last 20 years of watching and following Texas high school football very closely. Not necessarily beefed up, just stronger.
