Pretty much.. I mean it’s very similar to every game this year. The offense just didn’t make the dumb play that screwed us in the end.

If Herman can figure out a way to put a competeive offense on the field he has a shot at 8-9 wins next year. If not it’s 5-6 maybe less.

I don't think I've ever seen a punter literally dominate a game like this. I didn't see all of the game but did ANY of his punts end up outside the 10?

Herman deserves some credit. He is an offensive coach, and he was willing to punt and punt and punt and punt and punt some more.... He had better athletes and won with special teams and defense.
If he had gotten cute and tried to win with offense, he would have lost. Not all coaches can let the phases they don't run have the credit.

It’s a credit to him in that he understands that the offense is a weakness(to be kind) and that punting and his defense are what’s going to carry the team. It’s also troubling in a way because he seems to recgrnize the offense isn’t good, but he doesn’t appear to be inclined to remove Beck or take over the playcalling, so what do you plan to do to make it better? That’s yet to be seen, and honestly will determine his level of success at Texas.
Texas will get a trophy for winning this game to go into Trophy case AND AFTER this year these kids deserve a reward for their efforts.
Exactly, and I am glad the season is over. Mr Glass (Beuch) needs to go to a FCS school. He wont survive another season. Good effort...

It really isn’t. As I’ve said 100 times. I’m a Texas fan and I hope Herman wins 12 national titles and overtakes Saban as the best coach ever... just have my doubts that he’s the guy that brings us back to where we wanna be.
