Too early for predictions. Though I would like to enter a motion to do our predictions on a wed- instead of our usual Thursday because the game is taking place one day earlier than usual.

Must we run the ball? We must.
Must we avoid sacks? We must.
Will we rely on big plays? As I shake my head- knowing that 4 of the 5 TDs we scored against AZ st were on plays of 23 yards or more.......
The week before against Clemson- 4 of our 5 TDs were from 15 yards or more.....
That means 8 of the last 10 touchdowns we've score have been from a distance of greater than 15 yards- with 77 being the longest.

Big plays make me nervous. They aren't always there.

Whatcha think is the best way WE can attack the daunting 3 high defense considering our bi-polar rushing game?

I'm thinking a healthy dose of Helm over the middle and spread quick outs from empty. Crazy? QE is like 89% efficient whenever we run empty.

I'm mostly concerned about tosu's passing attack. Can the DB's slow down those buckeye receivers in man coverage? I would really like the LB's to be able to support the DLine, but that might be tough with those receivers.

That's the million dollar question and my eyes tell me doubtful. They are clicking on all cylinders at the right time so I think we really need our offense to get it together for a shootout.
Ohio will get theirs but, can we get ours?

I'll say it. And come back here to tell you I was right after the game. Will Howard is mediocre. His receivers make him look better than he is. It won't be easy, but make him make the plays, and this is a UT W. I will go ahead and say it now - I told you so.

It's still 3 days away @clob94. Is it alright to talk about the game?

The last couple of games Ohio St has been a killer with explosive plays. If there is one thing we have done well it is non giving up big plays. As long as we don't hurt ourselves it will be a game, buckle up.

Lets pray that they do not throw a halfback pass.

tOSU is rightly favored, but anybody that thinks we don't have a chance is not paying attention
We’ve definitely got a chance. I’m worried we miss it, though.

I like your optimism, and I hope you get to tell me, “I told you so.”

Gentlemen..!!! Parliamentary Procedure. We have a motion from Brother @clob94 to move the prediction thread ahead to Wednesday. Do we have a second? If we get a second, the motion will proceed to a vote of the Dungeon Citizens League, unless a motion for further discussion is entertained by the chair. I repeat, do we have a second?

Mr. Chairman, I second the motion.

We have a motion and a second. Any further discussion? ........................

There being no further discussion, we will proceed to a vote. All in favor of Brother @clob94's motion to move the prediction thread to Wednesday, reply with "aye".....

Long, steady, and slow Texas running game behind our punishing offensive line for Texas touchdowns (eating clock) is the key to victory over OSU. Keep the OSU offense off the field. Keep the Texas offense on the field. Get one or two explosive plays on offense and or special teams. No turnovers. We should win.

So same game plan as the ASU game. Got it.

That was on Sark. He kept on with the outside zone blocking and didn't even try going straight at them man to man in a street fight. Our guys would have won, but instead lost that particular battle with 1.8yd/carry or 30 carries for 53 yards. I am still not over that crap

You’re preaching to the choir Brother.. I’ve been begging for a 2 tight end set and telling the o line we win or lose depending on your huevos. Should have used the same game plan against ASU. We win by 20+ if we do. Dark Sark strikes again.
