My completely biased and sometimes unbiased but mostly random thoughts. Sometimes negative, but usually spun back to positive. I've only been watching the Horns since Ricky Williams. I have enough PTSD to NOT be a sunshine pumper, however, I've stored enough sunshine and Kool-Aid to keep me going strong since 2009. I'm not a writer so I will butcher names and spelling and DEFINETLY grammar, feel free to hold me accountable. I just love Texas Football, and these are the random things that pop in my head while RE-WATCHING the games. Enjoy...or don't...but at least enjoy the ride with me. This is better than Ol' boy Charlie, the 18-Wheeler package, losing to Kansas at home, Texas is Back, Texas is not Back, Maryland, Maryland again......you get the point. Enjoy

- Quinn wasn't as bad on rewatch, rusty, not accurate, but not as horrible as I remembered live. Sark could have given him easier throws and reads to start, but I'm not Sark and I don't want to be. He trusts Quinn, so I will too.
- However...
- Let’s pretend Texas is in the National title and Quinn is struggling like this through the end of the 3rd quarter. Only this time it’s vs an offense with a pulse. We're losing 28 pts to 14 and the offense is stuck in mud with no answer in sight, been in mud the entire game... Does Sark pull a Saben QB switch with Tua and Jalen Hurts? IMO Sark doesn't even consider this unless something big is on the line, like an SEC championship or National Championship. But not vs Georgia or even ATM.
- Wisner is the better RB for this team. Weird saying that
- Burke had a great game. Junior, probably coming back next year? Move him to DT next year please so Vasek can get on the field.
- My boy Gbenda aka Bobino with another Bobino play. What a silly call for roughing the passer. Oh well, their QB felt it…that’s what matters.
- Vernon B is good. We were hoping for serviceable this year, but he’s better than that…that boy good.
- Silas is gutsy with his punt returns in heavy traffic. I keep waiting for it to backfire. Let’s hope it never does
- After THE fumble chase down recovery. He earns some “do whatever you want” in my coaching book. (Good thing I’m not coaching, that wouldn’t end well)
- But IF I was coaching OU, I would have brought out Jackson Arnold second series of the second half. See if he blows up, nothing to lose... The game was over at halftime in my mind but…dead and gone…no chance in hell…when they ponied him out there for the rest of the second half.
- Back to THE fumble recovery. Wisner with his best Jaydon Blue impersonation with the ankle breaker. Gotta appreciate the commitment to the impersonation by fumbling at the end of it
still love ya Jaydon, you’ll figure it out.
- #18 keeps flashing, he’s going to be a really good player for us. Nice little ponytail/rat tail whatever that is, I like it. Gives him a little character.
- Ant hill makes playing LB look really easy, best we've ever had? I'm just going to enjoy him while we have him. Same with Collins...same with this whole team really...
- If Golden makes that throw after the second fumble...The ground would have shook. FYI loved that Sark gave him a second chance later.
- Bert is nails, but he likes to miss some easy FGs early in games sometimes. Ones that would help settle the game a little, oh well, I don’t feel like he’s ever really lost us a game, so I’ll call it an offsetting penalty. Nothing to see here...just his glorious hair.
- I liked Sark letting the clock run down to 25 sec at the end of the half before going for it. Small thing but leaves OU with nothing when they got the ball back.
- Brent V is clueless in his halftime interview lol you could tell he had zero clue what to tell his team.
- If I was coaching OU id just tell em “Well boys……. we suck, and we have no chance…nothing to lose now.” (I’m still not coaching)
- Kind of feels like everything Wingo touches turns to gold.
- I found myself disappointed he only gained 7 on one of his screens. Its below his average.
- Collin Simmons is much better against the run than I anticipated...I guess I viewed him as somewhat of a pass rush specialist...Wrong again...
- Anthony Hill is a dog. Sometimes I wish he’d tone it down a little…but then I say "nah" every championship defense, in every sport, has a dog.
- If I was coaching, I would not be putting a D on the jersey...I find it cringe personally. Just my opinion, to each his own.
- Golden is our dog on offense. Must be the H-town in him
- Thought we lost Jake there for a second. And that thought scared me a lot more than I thought it would...That’s how good of a player he’s become from yr 1
- Trey Moore will get a sack this year!! And we will hear him let out a HUGE sigh of relief through the television set.
- If you had the choice, do you take Sanders or Helm on this team?
- McDonald and Ty 'Anthony Smith are going to be fun to watch in the years to come.
- The only anxiety I got this entire game, was on OUs last drive of the game.
- Is that Finkley I’m seeing out there on the last drive??
- Love that the defense took pride in keeping them out of the end zone in garbage time. Love it, they did it for Orangebloods
- I enjoyed the rewatch more than I thought I would. I felt the same way with the MSST rewatch.
- Is this team as good as we think? Have we just not played an offense with a pulse? I guess we will find out next week…
- Quinn’s my QB (Don’t worry Manning, you’re my boy too, you're just like my younger more athletic son that I know will do well...but right now my oldest son is playing his senior year)
- The golden hat could be justtttt a bit bigger for these grown men with their grown heads...
- I’ll end with Quinn’s post-game comments and why he's my QB…..."Its 10 percent what happens to you, 90% how you react. I just lean on Jesus…”
