Well tomorrow is hump day..so why not start this

do we take the rat poison? Do we eat the cheeese? or are we focused and come out like a top 5 team

I really think Sark has this team going and this game is very rice like scoring

Texas 42- Wyoming 13

Players of the Game QE with another good performanc and pulled by the 4th after 4 TDS...Neyor catches his first TD and on defense Ethan Burke and Anthony Hill jr get more sacks!

If QE is in the game in the 2nd half (other than maybe the first possession) then we have underperformed. If this team is who we think they are after Tuscaloosa, Malik and Arch are splitting the 2nd half.

I would not be shocked to see a little bit of post big game let down, but I think we should still win pretty comfortably. It may be just close enough to allow the game day negative nancys out to play a bit, early on.

I definitely agree that Wyoming is not a bad team but if our guys are the dudes we think they are, they do what they’re a supposed to do to less talented teams.

42-17

MM gets a TD pass or 2 to make the score look better than it was.

Not really sure how to call this one. Wyoming is a veteran group but doesn't have the depth for 4 qtrs. I heard they have something like 7 graduated starters. Smart qb that can get mobile. They will be bringing pressure to disrupt Ewers however possible. Short passes and quick screens will be our bread and butter all night.

I see it being very similar to the Rice game. Uncomfortably close until mid 3rd qtr where we pull away. 41 - 27.

Defense is tired from last week. Slow start. Offense goes bananas.

Craig Bohl is a good coach, but Wyo is one dimensional running team.

45-17

56-13. Too much excitement for Texas to play this one flat. Between the excitement of the Bama win, and the new LED lights, the crowd will charge the team.

Dude.... let me tell you...

First hand-- there was NOTHING in this world that made me more hyped or ready to knock a mother fvcker out-- than brand new LED lights. . . . .

believe it or not..(cant tell if your being sarcastic lol) but kids respond to this kinda shit now days. Just like Vince back in 05 getting Mack to let him play THEIR music in the locker room even though he was against it. Kids get hyped over this shit. Back in my day ( never played college d1 ball, played junior college) but we woke up saturday ready to just hit mother fkers because it was saturday. Kids today are different. So im glad to see we are keeping up with other schools with this..."Atmosphere shit"

Ya.... I was being very sarcastic.
I didn't need blinky lights to remind me to wake up in a bad fvcking mood on gameday. I didn't need hype music to get me ready to hate the fvcking world.
I needed an alarm clock buzzer at 6am on gameday and I was ready to assrape anything that moved that was wearing the wrong color that day.

Well, I wasn’t saying the team is going to feed off the lights. I was talking about the lights getting the crowd more hyped, and the team feeding off the crowd’s excitement.

Wait, lemme guess, you didn’t get excited about playing in front of a super jacked up crowd, either?

Had this convo over the weekend. The first 30 seconds is surreal. Then this thing happens-- your brain flips this weird switch and you stop hearing them.
I could spend an hour trying to explain it.... but there's no way to..... explain it... or understand it.

I am an “Al Bundy” and played HS football, but I know exactly what you are talking about. Be it at a much smaller level, but it is difficult to explain. Weird how your vision and hearing zone in and out depending on which sense the brain needs the most at any particular time.

I think the o line has learned from the rice game. I think Texas competition has shown them they can win at a high level. It’s a new day… Texas 42-7. I don’t see Wyoming putting up more of this defensive than Bama did.

I once scored 4 touchdowns in one game, too, and I also get what he’s saying, but to act like the crowd has no effect on the team is beyond ridiculous. It’s called home field advantage for a reason, and it’s real. Even when you don’t hear them, you feed off the energy of the crowd.

That's psychological. It can't be measured. Frankly I never understood it. Even as a child.
Being booed by an opposing crowd during warm-ups was a top 5 erection moment for me. During stretching, going back to Jr High, I purposely stretched as close to the opposing cheerleaders or pom squad, as I could. That's where I learned that telling a female exactly how badly you're going to skull fvck her boyfriend, then going out and doing it-- the primal cave woman in her emerges and her Darwin brain kicks in.

But yes Metcalf-- we do need to create a more imposing home environment.

I'm just not sure a "vegas style Cirque d'solay" light show is the way to go. I guess if the kids like it.......
I was in Brussels a few years back for Xmas and saw the LED light show at "Le Grande Platz" and it (kind of) reminds me of that.

50-7 Texas. Wyoming was in a close game with Portland State last weekend, we should throttle them. This one shouldn't be close. And I don't care that they beat Tech in week 1.

I didn't play in front of huge crowds...sometimes just hundreds or less. Which in many cases is even more obvious to hear because nothing drowns them out. But you are 100% right. In the midst of competition, you just don't hear shit. It becomes white noise.
