It is so funny how the left and the media (I repeat) has misrepresented how much Trump paid in taxes in 2016 and 2017. The claim, repeated everywhere on here and in a political ad magically created in 2 hours is he "only" paid $750. The problem, if one simply reads the article, is in the paragraph leading to the $750 lie, the NYTs says Trump paid $1 million in taxes in 2016 and $4.2 million in taxes in 2017. The NYTs article literally gives those figures in the preceding sentences. Now, I was told there would be no math, but if you paid $1M then $4.2M, that seems like a lot more money than $750.
