What college fb is supposed to be about is tradition.
And nothing speaks of tradition like the Army/Navy game.
And when I see the long gray line and the brigade of mid shipmen march into the stadium even I am enthralled.
And when the game is played in Philadelphia it's like the TX/OK game as far as neutral sites go.
And when the service academies play on the roads they get tremendous respect from fans. I was touched at the way TX fans treated the AFA at the regionals last year.
It really doesn't matter if the teams are any good it's the one game where I can just enjoy watching fb.
Finally something to chew on. I don't know if any of those kids could play at TX.
But I'll bet that all of them could get into a school like TX on their own.
You have to have Ivy League caliber grades to go there.
What do you guys think of that?
