Here's a look at what was being said moments before the game.

Texas took the opening drive and took the ball 65 yards on 12 plays before settling on a Trent Domingue 27-yard field goal.

West Virginia responded with a nice drive of its own, but is forced to settle for a game-typing field goal following a third down sack by freshman Malcolm Roach.

Moments after a D'Onta Foreman fumble inside the Texas 20-yard line, the Texas defense responds by forcing a fumble of its own with West Virginia knocking on the door for points.

With 2:27 remaining in the first quarter, the Mountaineers took the lead on an eight yard touchdown run by Kennedy McKoy.

After a four and out by the Texas offense, the Mountaineers go 70 yards and take a 17-3 lead on a Skyler Howard touchdown pass to Ka'Raun White, which witnessed Kris Boyd interfere with White, only to see White make a crazy catch on his back in the end zone.

Texas flirted with disaster after a Jacorey Warrick fumble on a punt return was overturned due to an interference penalty and the Longhorns responded quickly with a five-play, 58-yard drive capped off by a Shane Buechele touchdown run.
