This is not where I thought we would be, but would winning-out salvage our season?

Hell yes that would be a tremendous finish, and a good chance at a Big 12 championship appearance.

How likely is it though? ESPN FPI has ISU with a 71.3% chance of winning and Baylor a 62.2% chance of winning.

ISU has opened as a 6.5 point favorite.

Does it really matter anymore?
Of course it matters. We entered this season fully expecting to win 10 games. Win out and we have the opportunity to do so. Ten wins is where our expectations lie year in and year out. Keep banging away on those 10 win seasons and eventually you get over that hump and make the playoffs. Look, what's happening with the Oklahoma QB situation is an anomaly that has never before occurred in the college football landscape. It just doesn't happen. Ergo, weather this QB storm created by completely weird scenarios and things should return to normal within the conference.

I like this way of thinking, and it makes sense to me...of course, that fact, alone, should scare me!
