The curve on the whole active and obvious bias spectrum from "you are crazy - it doesn't exist" to "yeah, but Fox..." has ramped up considerably. I remember thinking the news was biased back in the 90s ("read my lips, no new taxes") and not even 10 years ago being told the idea was "laughable" that the news was biased towards the left, politically.
In probably only three years, the entire social & search media monopolies have been outed. It makes my heart glad in that it is finally common knowledge because it loses its power over us in the sunlight and we can work to fix it.
