No, I've been referencing that for years on hereCase McCoy would be in to watch that............
(too soon for that reference?)
Those shoes don’t look bad to me? The players really get into that stuff as you can tell from the video. What color uniform is Texas wearing?Focused on new shoes..................ugh
Dude they've been practicing. When does bowl practices start? Think the team is focused?
Dude they've been practicing.
I'm not 100% but I think work outs are closed. Don't hold me to that.Good, haven't heard anything about it. All the news is focused on the coaching searches.
Focused on new shoes..................ugh
KD special editionWhat shoes? I don't see them in the thread
Winning cures all. Just win!KD special edition
I disagree. I think that are seriously hacked off by the way they have played and what has been said about them in the national media and go out there with a chip on their shoulder. That does not guarantee a win but I think they play well and frustrate Utah and I believe it is a game they can win..I question how motivated Texas is going to be for the Alamo bowl game. My guess it that we'll see the same team that played Baylor show up. Utah, on the other hand, will be fired up to come to the great state of Texas, and they will be fired up to play The University of Texas. If Texas wins, I'll be very surprised.
But that qb tho..........Very very good defense.
Much of football outcomes doesn't have to do with superior strategy, and sometimes not even superior speed & strength. It's about confidence, emotion and extra effort. It's about trusting your teammates and not wanting to let them down.
You never know which Utah and which Texas is going to show up that day.
If you don't love your teammates (and coaches), you won't be in position to make the block or tackle. You won't bother to learn the playbook. You might not block hard for every back, much less every down.Vince Lombardi said "football is two things. Blocking and tackling. You block better and tackle better than your opponent...you will win"
Truth. If you don't love your teammates (and coaches), you won't be in position to make the block or tackle. You won't bother to learn the playbook. You might not block hard for every back. On D, you won't bother to pursue plays that go the opposite way, or take angles. You'll give up on plays.
And if you don't believe you can win, you can't.
I don't know if OB forum posts can ever end up on Utah Ute bulletin boards, but after we drew Utah in the Alamo Bowl, I wanted this thread to disappear. Minimize what I said, just in case. When I wrote this, I was expecting to draw Notre Dame in the Camping World Bowl. That's what all the "experts" said.I've only seen them play once... watched most of their win over Colorado.
Frankly, they didn't impress me that much. #5? That seems WAY too high.
Am I missing something?
