I believe Texas is up for this game more than ever. I think they have circled this one on the schedule due to the multiple consecutive pride swallowing ass whippings at the hands of tcu. Texas 31 Purple 21
TCU can score in a hurry but they turn the ball over. They scored 28 vs tOSU with 511 yds of offense and 3 turnovers. I think they get at least 28 on us. Its going to come down to turnovers and the kicking game. I think we finally found a kicker. I am a little nervous about the about the punter. The kid is a bit slow getting the ball away and people have been getting close all year. Sam makes me nervous. If he doesn't turn the ball over we have a very good chance of winning the game. If we come out on top its because we turned the ball over less than they did.

No idea. I have bet money on Texas thinking they were turning the corner and had them lay an egg. Too much inconsistency with Texas for me to touch this one today. I feel they will be confident and early on they will come out on fire. I think TCU going sideline to sideline will eventually wear Texas out. I think it’s close all the way through and then TCU wins by around 10. 27-17?? BUT, if the talent comes out and Herman can figure out the x’s And 0’s then Texas could win big.
TCU won the past 4 games vs Texas by an average of 30 points. TCU lost by 2 TDS to Ohio State - so they should be playing hard for a win.

For those reasons, Texas will narrow the gap (from a 30 point loss) but still lose by 2 TDS.

I was a believer up until halftime vs Maryland but very skeptical now. We're just not there yet and TCU is a good team coming off a close loss.
We have a chance but painfully, TCU rolls as expected. Fingers crossed I am dead wrong.

We either squeak out a win........ or......... bone dry.
Fortunately, all of Herman's losses have been close losses..... not full on blow outs like we had with Charlie. I wat to believe that a loss by us will be a "close loss". But I just don't see that today. I don't know why. I can point at play calling and personnel all the live long day..... but I just think this is us by a little, or them by a prison riot.

Tired of losing to them and not even close.Patterson has been building his program 17 years,herman 2. go figure. He enjoys beating teams with 4 star recruits with his 2 and 3 star recruits.Texas will need to play their best game to win.
The last 4 years TCU has 19 4* recruits and only 3 2* recruits. They have averaged a top 25 class in that time. They recruit just fine and have more than enough talent. This idea that TCU has a roster full of 2* recruits is incorrect
TCU won’t stop the run. Texas will, and it’s the difference in this game.

I did also state 3 star recruits for TCU and has been better the last couple of years but as a whole Texas has had higher rated recruiting classes than TCU.They recruit speed and move them to different positions than high school.
Nothing wrong with 3* at all. Besides last year, the difference is negligible between Texas and TCU as far as recruiting.
Also, TCU doesn't have 2* recruits. They do better than that now. They're a top 25 recruiting team now. They should win 8-9 games a year easy. Develop a few guys and they'll win Big 12 because Patterson and staff are well above average.
