Check this out tOSU receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba has declared for the draft. He's also opting out for the playoff game vs GA.

This kid plays in 2 games all season and he doesn't want to play in a playoff game.

This is the kind of guy I don't want to go into combat with the kind who won't have your back.

Opting out for a bowl game is one thing but the playoffs is another.

If you've watched them this year you know that they're mostly a bunch of blowhards.

I hope GA kicks their ass in the PB.

Was there any injury involved that would have prevented him from playing anyway?

Oh póop this is the playoffs.
Easy for you to say when you don't have a life changing financial decision staring you down in the face. The NFL is always the end game. If he wasn't injured then I would agree with you. But the fact he has been hurt all season it's a no brainer for me.

Man...money comes and goes. If you're constantly "chasing that bag" you will never fill that void...EVER.

I get it for this guy though. If there is a risk of reinjury and it is career threatening then it totally makes sense. If it is 100% about money, IMO that is a problem.

He's been fighting that hamstring injury all year. Every time he has tried to come back he has re injured it. I get it in this instance. A guy just sitting out to sit out though is different IMO.

blah blah blah

He should have waited until  after the playoffs to say this.

People on here don't seem to understand this.

No, the problem here is you think your opinion is the only one that matters. If he consulted with his coaches and teammates and came to that decision then you have to respect it even if you don't agree with it. But then again, you have that liberal mindset that anybody who doesn't agree with you is dumb.

blah, blah, this has nothing to with politics or being liberal.

And ftr I see that you are a learned man.

I don't consider anyone who is conservative ignorant.

You're just as opinionated as I am.

I'm tired of the press and the polls and projections. It isn't healthy for anybody.

But in your original post you left out the most important part about why he's opting out. The fact that's he injured and has been all year.
