Had a chance to talk to a source yesterday on the phone about Collin's first semester in Austin. A few things to pass along...
1. There's a definite sense that going to Texas early was worth it. Over the course of the last few months, he's adjusted from high school kid to college student-athlete and there's a sense that doing that in the spring instead of the fall will make for a better freshman season for him.
2. I was told that the comfort level in spring football really occurred about half way in. It somewhat ties into the first point, but by the end of the spring he was a college player and not a player adjusting to being a college player.
3. This person I spoke with had a coach on the staff tell him that he believes this is the best freshman class that Sarkisian and Co. have had at Texas and that they believe this group will win a national title. The coach said that this was the first group he's 100% felt that way about.
