A real liberal should.
Right now we have the pasts, the country, the police, and people of different colors, on trial for criminal charges.
But its only the Prosecution and prosecutors that are allowed to making the case in the media and politics. We have at least 17 dead, hundreds beaten, many, many businesses of all Americans looted and destroyed, never to return. Everybody is now a suspect. Whites for being anti-black racists, blacks for being radicals. Same with any colors, wondering where do they divide to, for, or against. Nice job narratives and narrators. You suck!
Fair processes and due process can do better at achieving justice and healing society. But it won't. Politics is engineering this hysteria. Its done so throughout history. And left countries and societies in embers. People are told they are not judged by the content of their character, but by the color of their skin.
The US system of due process justice can work, politics can ruin it.
Its a powerful and destructive theater, but its a story told one way. That's not justice.
Maybe the defense can take the stand.
