I think I'm going from 9-3 to 10-2...but very very cautiously (I'm probably being swayed by the hype)
My key change is that I think this team grows during the season and maybe doesn't overlook/choke at Iowa State (in between 2 "revenge" games vs TCU and Tech)
I just don't think this team (including the coach) has the maturity/discipline for 11-1...not yet.
I don't think we get to 11-1 until 2025 or 2026 (2024 will be a tough transition year more of a 9-3/8-4 year)

- Easy win
- Rice is overmatched
- Sep 09 @ Away vs Alabama - L
- Not prudent to assume a win in their house
- We wont "surprise" them this year, but will make it a good game
- They will focus on QB pressure and dare our running game to win
- Sep 16 @ Home vs Wyoming - W
- Easy win
- Wyoming is overmatched
- Sep 22 @ Away vs Baylor - L
- Away game vs conference rival (we tend to lose at least 1)
- Still early in the season and we tend to have 1 off game early on
- Bad luck, bounces and B12 refs
- Sep 30 @ Home vs Kansas - W
- Because we're at home
- Baylor loss still stings so we are more focused
- Though that hasn't always worked for Sark vs Kansas
- Oct 07 @ Dallas vs Oklahoma - W
- The more seasoned QB usually wins
- But will be much closer than last year bc they're OU
- Never take them lightly bc they sold their souls to Satan a long time ago
- Oct 21 @ Away vs Houston - W
- We're a little more rested
- Could be a surprisingly tough game
- But we win a quasi-home game
- Oct 28 @ Home vs BYU - W
- Because we're at home. If not, I might pick a L here
- BYU will be built up to be a monster by OB Mods
- Nov 04 @ Home vs Kansas State - W
- Because we're at home.
- We wont overlook KSU
- Nov 11 @ Away vs TCU - W
- Payback
- We will be looking for TCU
- Nov 18 @ Away vs Iowa State - L
- After KSU/TCU we lose focus in a back to back away games
- We underestimate them
- This is the way.
- Nov 24 @ Home vs Tech - W
- We will be focused after losing to Iowa State
